Booking Terms & Conditions
1.
Reservations
Bookings can be made by phone or
e-mail, but dates cannot be fully guaranteed until the booking form has been
received together with the required deposit.
2. Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £100($200)
per week/part week is required with the signed booking form.
3. Security Deposit
A security deposit of £200 ($400) is
required with the final balance. This is to cover possible damage, breakages or
excessive cleaning costs above that normally required in connection with the
occupancy. The security deposit will normally be refunded within 3 weeks, once
the villa has been vacated, and confirmation has been received from our
management company that the property has been left in good order. Initial
problems, missing or damaged items must be reported to the management company
within the first 48 hours after arrival.
4. Balance of rental
The balance of the rental amount
together with the security deposit and cost of any extra items is due 8 weeks
prior to the arrival date. Failure to make this payment on time may be regarded
as a cancellation.
5. Cancellations
A cancellation must be made in writing
by the person who signed the booking form. No refunds are payable for a
cancellation which occurs after the final balance has been paid. (Whilst we
will make every effort to re-let the villa if you should have to cancel, any
refund is entirely at the discretion of the owner) Changes to booking dates
incur no fee, but are only valid if confirmed in writing by the owner.
6. Force Majeure
The owners of the property, their
servants or agents, accept no liability to pay compensation in respect of any
loss, damage or changes arising from unforeseeable circumstances beyond their
control, including (but not limited to) war, riots, civil strife, floods,
closure of airports, adverse weather conditions or loss of mains services.
7. Liability
You are advised that you are occupying
a private villa, and therefore are responsible for your own safety in respect of
any loss, personal accidents or damages sustained by you or any members of your
party during your stay. It is the guests’ responsibility to ensure that they
have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury/accidents/damage.*
No claims whatsoever will be accepted by the owners of the villa or their
agents. The owners, their servants or agents, accept no liability for loss of
mains services or of any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any
authority or third party beyond their control.
8. Pool
Guests using the pool or
its surrounding areas do so at their own risk. Children are required to be
supervised at all times when using the pool or on the pool deck area.
A pool safety fence is supplied, and
it is the responsibility of each guest to ensure this is in place.
The owners, their
servants or agents accept no responsibility for any loss or personal injury
incurred from using the pool or its surrounding areas.
9. Arrival/Departure
times
Please note checking in time must be after
4.00pm.
Please check out no later than 10.30am
on your departure date. These times can only be altered with written permission
from the owner.
For
Health & Safety reasons cleaning staff will not work while there are guests in
the villa. If you do not adhere to the above arrival and departure times, the
cleaning staff may be unable to complete the inspection of the villa. This
could result in you becoming liable for damage/loss caused by other guests.
*We would strongly
recommend that you take out a Travel Insurance Policy, which includes
cancellation and curtailment expenses for both accommodation and flights/car
